ABOUT OUR CLINIC
Established in 2022, Milton Eye Surgeons (MES) was founded by Dr. Aaron Chan with the mission of providing the Town of Milton with access to a local, specialized eye surgeon. As the population of Ontario continues to age, the demand for eye care in Halton has significantly increased. In response, we recognized the need to expand both our team and facility to meet this growing demand. In 2024, MES enhanced its services with the addition of corneal and external disease expertise.
MEET OUR SURGEONS
Dr. Aaron Chan MD FRCSC
is the current Division Head of Ophthalmology at Halton Healthcare. He is an assistant clinical professor (adjunct) at McMaster Health Sciences. In practice, he is a comprehensive cataract surgeon with special interest in medical retinal conditions. He completed both his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto. He is committed to seeing Milton, Georgetown, and Oakville region patients in a timely and accessible manner. Dr. Chan continues to serve patients from two convenient locations: Milton Eye Surgeons and the Eye Clinic at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Nour Nofal MD FRCSC
is a cornea transplant, refractive, and complex anterior segment surgeon. Dr. Nofal completed her medical degree at the Universite de Montreal, Ophthalmology Residency at McGill University, and Corneal Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Nofal specializes in corneal diseases of the eye including keratoconus and endothelial diseases requiring corneal transplantation. She is a staff ophthalmologist at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she performs the majority of her surgeries.

Dr. Eunice L. You MD MSc FRCSC
is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a clinical focus on medical retina and uveitis. Dr. You completed her medical degree at McGill University, ophthalmology residency at Laval University, and subspecialty training in Medical Retina & Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital – NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK. She also holds an MSc with honours in Evidence-Based Health Care and Medical Statistics from the University of Oxford.
Dr. You is a staff ophthalmologist at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she performs cataract surgery. She is excited to join the Halton Healthcare to provide compassionate, accessible and evidence-based eye care to the region.

Due to the volume of referrals, we are no longer accommodating referrals for eyelid malposition, epiphora, or oculoplastic-related issues. We will continue to see pediatrics in a local capacity.
